September 13, 2003 As the weekend begins, the amount of color change throughout the Southeast continues to be very low. This weekend, the remnants of Hurricane Henri will move north along the eastern seaboard, bringing with it abundant clouds and more rain. The region will now closely watch Hurricane Isabel, a major Category 5 Hurricane, which is moving westward across the Atlantic Ocean. If you have not yet made your leaf-peeping travel plans, now is the time! Check out our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotters sections to find great accommodations! This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released on Wednesday, September 17, 2003.
