Foliage conditions throughout the state of West Virginia and in much of western Virginia and Maryland have past peak. A majority of central Virginia and northeastern Maryland have reached peak color change. Eastern Virginia and southern Maryland are experiencing high color, with peak just around the corner.

Leaf drop continues to progress with much of the region now reporting high to nearly complete leaf loss. The exceptions being southeastern West Virginia, where leaf drop is now complete. Eastern Virginia, southeastern Maryland, and southern Delaware are reporting moderate leaf drop.
