Foliage Report #20

November 10, 2001
The only areas reporting peak color include the Boston and Cambridge and North of Boston regions in Massachusetts, downstate New York, extreme southwest Connecticut, and southeast New Jersey. All other areas in the Northeast have now past peak.

Leaf drop continues to increase, especially with the heavy winds experienced throughout much of the Northeast a few days ago. Complete leaf drop is the dominant condition, with high and nearly complete conditions prevalent in the southern portions of the Northeast.

This information provided by Marek D. Rzonca, The Foliage Network. The next report will be released Wednesday, November 14, 2001.
