The foliage season is pretty much over in West Virginia and in the mountains of Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. Peak foliage can still be found in the lower elevations in Tennessee, much of Maryland, central and eastern Virginia and central and eastern North Carolina. In some coastal areas, fall color is high.
Leaf drop is mostly high to nearly complete throughout the region.
