|
October 1, 2008
The color change is really beginning to pick up in northern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Most of these locations are heading toward the upper portion of the moderate color (31% - 60% change) range. North-central Minnesota should be approaching peak in the coming week. Portions of this area are now reporting high color (61% - 80% change). Elsewhere in the region, color change is low (11% - 30% change).
Leaf drop is low to very low throughout the region.
Don't forget to check out our Places to Stay and Foliage Spotter sections to find great accommodations.
